(This illustration was inspired by the song “Time Passages.” by Al Stewart) The scene captured here is our main character, PFC Robert “Doc” Carruso, Medic, American Expeditionary Forces 1917, as he is nearing the end of his incredible journey on the desert planet of Jakku in a galaxy far, far away.
Time Passages is, let’s see how I should phrase this; well, it is inspired by actual events, true enough. It could be considered a personal diary or memoir, even a historical account of one man’s fantastic walk of life, which ends up in the hands of the most unlikely soul.
